The Morning on our way to the Cape Point started out fairly exciting and surprising. We expected drastic weather but as we drove with our "party bus" the sun made a very unsatisfying appearance, because the other surprise is that i wore a very thick Union Mart jacket, coz i mos now came all ready you know, our coloured people we don't know about going to reserves and stuff. for us that is the danger zone....GeT OUt! kinda stuff.
When we came there though it started raining like heaavvyyy and i was like whAT ThE FUdGE?? did i come with, i could have stayed at home and layed in bed or something. When we arrived at the main entrance we climbed out of the bus and the sun was shining again so the weather was kind of pkaying with us at that time. we chilled and i bought me some expensive bites (its not suppose to be expensive but you know how we are with dem tourists....wink wink). we climbed on the bus again and headed off into the "danger zone".... while we were driving, everywhere i looked i saw boards up on the side of the paths saying " DO NOT FEED BABOONS". I was like oookay that is there loss coz i came with all the goodies, just kidding i know i shouldn't feed the poor baboons its still a shame though. When we came to our first stop, the wind was like hectic, if i had to wear a wig or weave dahm Gina!, i wouldve lost a good set of hair that could have become a blanket too the baboons (at least i would have donated something you know). As our journey proceeded i became more and more suspicious about the trip...ok ok let me stop there and tell you whyy i became sooo suspicious, well when we arrived at the beach side of the Cape Point, i was dared to climb on a mountain, no one dared me but i am a thrill seeker and that was like a calling to me saying come Andrea come! blow yourself off this mountain and exist as an example to others. i went anyway with those things going through my mind and when we were done taking pictures we reached the top. i literally thought i was sky-diving when i reached the top, the wind was so strong that my eyes started tearing and when i wanted to come down i could not even see where i was walking so that was pretty dangerous and awesome at the same time! i finally reached the bottom and went to the bus to go to our next stop.
when we reached our next stop, i was greeted by this baboon family. i felt so honored, because i was like wow! my founding family came to fetch me or i don't know maybe they were my cousins or something. i could see in there behavior that we were a lot alike. i went to take a picture at the cape point view and one of them came with me. i was panicking like the baboon held a gun to my head but he/she looked friendly and i made an exception for baboonie to be in with me on the picture.

The climb up to the lighthouse was an extreme workout, i felt like i was on fat camp and someone is shouting in my ears, "YOU CAN DO THIS! DONT SWEAT LIKE YOU HAVE GOT MACE IN UR FACE GIRL!" I turned around sometime during all of that happening and baboons were following me and some friends, i was like ok i was kidding about the goodies guys (nervous face),but they only appeared because they wanted to show off i suppose. When we came to the lighthouse we wrote our names on it like we were tourists but haay! why cant i just act like one when the chance is given.
Anyway that is about it, all i have to say is that the trip was spectacular and i soo didnt regret going! Big Ups too the baboons and CHeErS!!! to my fellow people that enjoyed the trip with me.
